Welcome to Bible AI Guide. Bible AI Guide is operated by KINGPOWERAU PTY LTD ("we", "us", "our"). These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Bible AI Guide mobile app, website, emails, and related services (collectively, the "Service"). By downloading, registering for, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
1. Use of the Service
Bible AI Guide provides Bible reading, AI Bible Chat, AI Prayer, voice responses, devotionals, and related spiritual resources. You agree to use the Service only for lawful, personal, and non-commercial purposes, and in line with these Terms.
You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country, if higher) to create an account and use the Service.
2. Accounts and Registration
To use certain features, you need to create an account with a valid email address, or sign in with Apple or Google. You agree to give accurate information, keep your sign-in details secure, and are responsible for activity under your account. Please tell us promptly if you believe your account has been used without your permission.
3. AI-Generated Responses
AI Bible Chat, AI Prayer, and other AI features generate responses automatically using artificial intelligence (provided by OpenAI). Please keep in mind:
- AI responses are provided for general spiritual encouragement, reflection, and information only.
- They may sometimes be inaccurate, incomplete, or not reflect the teaching of your church or tradition. Always check important matters against Scripture and use your own discernment.
- They are not professional advice. They do not replace guidance from a pastor, counsellor, doctor, lawyer, or financial adviser.
- If you are in crisis or thinking about harming yourself or others, please contact your local emergency services or a crisis line right away.
Your conversations are saved to your account history, which you can delete at any time. How we handle your conversations is explained in our Privacy Policy.
4. Free Plan and Premium Subscriptions
The Service offers a Free plan with daily usage limits, and an optional paid Premium subscription that unlocks additional features and higher limits. Plan features and prices are shown in the app before you buy.
- Billing: Premium is purchased and billed through your Apple App Store or Google Play account. Payment is charged to that account when you confirm your purchase.
- Automatic renewal: Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period (for example, monthly or yearly) at the then-current price, unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the current period ends.
- Free trials: If a free trial is offered, it automatically converts into a paid subscription at the end of the trial unless you cancel at least 24 hours before it ends. Any unused part of a free trial ends when you buy a subscription.
- Cancelling: You can cancel at any time in your device's subscription settings (iPhone: Settings > your name > Subscriptions; Android: Google Play > Profile > Payments & subscriptions > Subscriptions). After cancelling, you keep Premium until the end of the period you have already paid for, and you will not be charged again.
- Refunds: Payments are handled by Apple or Google, so refund requests must be made to them under their refund policies. Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law or other consumer laws that apply to you.
- Price changes: If the price of your subscription changes, you will be notified in advance as required by Apple or Google, and you can cancel before the new price applies.
Deleting the app or your account does not cancel your subscription. Please cancel it in your App Store or Google Play settings.
5. Voluntary Contributions
You can choose to support our mission with a one-time or monthly contribution on our website. Contributions are processed securely by Stripe, are voluntary, and do not purchase Premium or any other feature in the app. Monthly contributions can be updated or cancelled at any time using the "Manage or cancel" link in your receipt or thank-you email, or by contacting us. Contributions are generally non-refundable, but if you were charged by mistake, please contact us and we will help.
6. Email Communications
When you create an account, we will send you essential service emails, such as verification codes, password resets, security alerts, subscription information, and important service updates.
With your consent where required by law, we may also send Bible verses, devotionals, spiritual encouragement, newsletters, and app updates. You can unsubscribe from these emails at any time by clicking the Unsubscribe link in any of them, or by emailing support@bibleaiguide.com. Unsubscribing does not affect your account or your access to the app.
7. Acceptable Use
You agree not to misuse the Service. In particular, you will not:
- Use the Service for any unlawful, harmful, or abusive purpose
- Attempt to disrupt, overload, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorised access to the Service or its systems
- Use bots or automated means to get around usage limits
- Submit content that is unlawful, hateful, offensive, or infringes the rights of others
- Use the Service to generate or distribute harmful, misleading, or malicious content
8. Intellectual Property
The Service, including its design, branding, logo, and original content, is owned by or licensed to KINGPOWERAU PTY LTD and is protected by intellectual property laws. Bible translations and other third-party content remain the property of their respective owners. You may not copy, modify, or redistribute any part of the Service except as permitted by these Terms or by law.
9. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we make no warranties that the Service or AI responses will be uninterrupted, error-free, or accurate, and KINGPOWERAU PTY LTD will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Service.
Some laws, including the Australian Consumer Law, give you guarantees and rights that cannot be excluded. Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts, or changes those rights.
10. Account Deletion and Termination
You can delete your account at any time in the app (Profile > Delete Account), or as described on our Delete Account page. When you delete your account, your account details, conversation history, favourites, and usage data are permanently deleted, as explained in our Privacy Policy. Remember to also cancel any Premium subscription in your app store settings.
We may suspend or close accounts that break these Terms, or where reasonably necessary to protect the Service or its users.
11. Apple and Google
These Terms are between you and KINGPOWERAU PTY LTD, not Apple or Google. Apple and Google are not responsible for the Service or its content, or for providing support or maintenance for it. If you downloaded the app from the Apple App Store, Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them. Your use of the app must also comply with the App Store or Google Play terms of service.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date above, and for significant changes we will let you know in the app or by email. If you keep using the Service after changes take effect, you accept the updated Terms.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Australia. This does not take away any protections you have under the consumer laws of the country where you live.
